If you have followed us for a bit over the years we love sharing the history and story of Salcherts. In our new space we are extremely excited to continue to tell that story and we want to acknowledge the history of the many other small town local meat markets.

If you have stories, pictures, or keepsakes of meat markets in the area (Johnsburg, Mt.Calvary, Pipe, Marytown, Elkhart Lake, Glenbulah, etc.) and want to share with us, we would love to hear and see them. Our goal is to share the rich history of all the little meat markets that were a big part of our local communities.
